This stabilization makes the plane more aerodynamic, decreasing the drag forces on the aircraft and, consequently, reducing the thrust power demand. What HFLC has to do with LASERWAY – Horizon Europe?
Microperforating huge metal leading-edge panels for airplane wings demands a highly productive, ultrafast, yet accurate method. LaserWay partner Tekniker has been working on the ๐๐ฎ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ช๐ฎ๐ ๐บ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฟ๐ผ-๐ฑ๐ฟ๐ถ๐น๐น๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐บ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ต๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ, which can make HLFC possible at an industrial scale.

Last week, David Cruz Palacios and other specialists from Aernnova attended the 15th EASN – European Aerospace Science Network International Conference at the Escuela Tรฉcnica Superior de Ingenierรญa Aeronรกutica y del Espacio de laย Universidad Politรฉcnica de Madrid (ETSIAE – UPM).
Some demonstrators of the HLFC technology were shown to the attendees, and some crucial insights on the advantages of LaserWay micro-drilling for clean aviation were discussed.
