Ecomatters is a European-based sustainability consultancy firm founded by Max Sonnen in 2008 in order to support businesses in using sustainability perspectives to provide value for their business models. Ecomatters offers services based on life cycle thinking (LCT) and focuses on sustainability throughout the value chain. We support organizations in developing their sustainability strategy and setting concrete sustainability goals. Furthermore, we perform quantitative analyses evaluating the social, economic, and/or environmental aspects of services and products and assist in preparing product claims, (eco) labels, and environmental product sheets. Additionally, we support companies in calculating their organizational footprint for their corporate sustainability report. We also provide advice and guidance on chemical legislation, regulations, and product registrations. Depending on your needs we take the full project out of your hands or parts thereof, such as developing sustainability calculation tools, creating EPDs, performing an LCA study, or supporting you with your REACH questions. Among our clients are (multinational) chemical and pharmaceutical companies, paint and coatings producers, manufacturers of electronic components, and construction products producing companies. Our flexible, pragmatic, and problem-oriented approach allows us to offer customized solutions. Within each project, we are committed to achieving tangible results that are comprehensible and useful within the organization. Ecomatters will work with consortium members to design and implement a Life Cycle Assessment of the newly developed high-speed laser processes. Over the course of three years, Ecomatters will closely collaborate with the experts in the consortium. Ecomatters will focus on the collection of all data required for a high-level screening study. As the project advances, this study will be updated with the newest insights gained by the partners. Ecomatters will then analyze the provided data and interpret the results in order to quantify the environmental impact of the technologies within the LaserWay project.
