Video Systems Srl (short VS) is a privately owned SME company specializing in the development and production of Artificial Vision, Artificial Intelligence, IIoT, and robotics solutions for industry, agriculture, research, and everyday life sectors. VS masters competencies in ICT, AI, electronics, optics, mechanics, photonics, and mostly Machine Vision, and participates in numerous EU-funded projects. VS has a continuous program of R&D with worldwide universities and institutes, that allows proposing best-in-class technologies and solutions and provides both general-purpose applications and tailor-made ones: customers’ needs are met through a workflow that starts with a collaborative analysis and ends when the product is ready and fully certified with common international standards. In the industrial market, our expertise is focused on product quality and process control solutions for real-time in-line analysis. With experience dating back to 1993, we are an important supplier of AI-based machine vision solutions in many fields supported by an R&D and production facility in Codroipo (Italy). VS is also a member of several international associations: Within the project, Video Systems will design and develop new vision applications expressly dedicated to the control and monitoring of the high-speed and high-precision laser manufacturing processes, in particular fitting the demanding requirements coming from the objectives planned for the laser micro-drilling and the laser blanking processes. Video Systems will use its long-going experience and advanced skills to adapt its technological solutions in the field of artificial vision and artificial intelligence to the high productivity and flexibility expectations targeted by the technical advancements foreseen in this innovative project. We are quite excited to be part of this technological adventure, which will pose us in front of new challenges to be faced and solved also through the cooperation and support of our consortium partners.
