📢 LASERWAY – Horizon Europe held its M33 consortium meeting on 24 September 2026, hosted by project partner Aernnova at its facilities in Berantevilla, Spain.
The meeting brought together LASERWAY partners to review the latest progress and coordinate the project’s activities as it moves towards its final phase.
The programme focused on the review of three key deliverables covering the project’s main laser-based manufacturing technologies:
🔹 Laser blanking
🔹 Micro-drilling
🔹 EHLA (Extreme High-Speed Laser Material Deposition)
Partners also discussed the progress of the final demonstrators for each technology, with updates on laser blanking, micro-drilling and EHLA, and the next steps towards their completion and validation.
A highlight of the meeting was the visit to Aernnova’s production facilities, providing partners with an opportunity to see the aerospace manufacturing environment and better understand the industrial context in which LASERWAY technologies are being developed and validated.
The meeting concluded with discussions on the remaining activities and priorities for the final stage of the project, including the completion of the demonstrators and preparation for the final project outcomes.
