Another successful consortium meeting!!! LASERWAY – Horizon Europe is moving forward🚀
This time, CEDRAT TECHNOLOGIES offered their exceptional facilities in the middle of the breathtaking landscapes of Grenoble 🏔️ to host the gathering. Toward its midterm review period, the LASERWAY – Horizon Europe consortium discussed the final points related to machine designs for LaserWay blanking, LaserWay microdrilling, and LaserWay EHLA technologies. No major challenges were found, which aligns with the machine-building period starting during the second half of 2025 as planned.
CEDRAT TECHNOLOGIES, an expert in mechatronics (actuators, sensors, and drive electronics), offered a tour of their facilities. These, include ISO-7 and ISO-5 clean rooms for integration and testing of devices serving in the aerospace industry, among other fields where precision, speed, and miniaturization are key factors.
In the LASERWAY – Horizon Europe project, CEDRAT TECHNOLOGIES is committed to developing a Fast Steering Mirror (FSM) for the mircodrilling machine, which will be used to produce high-quality water filters for agricultural 🪴 applications and perforated wing leading edges to decrease fuel consumption in commercial planes 🛫
